By minimizing the quantity of lubricating oil that carries over into the refrigeration system, the multi-stage oil separator protects the heat exchangers from oil fouling — a significant cause of heat transfer performance degradation in refrigeration systems — and ensures that the compressor maintains an adequate oil charge for reliable lubrication throughout continuous operation. The result is improved heat exchanger efficiency, higher system COP, and reduced maintenance intervention related to oil management.
