The Lynxcool Water-Cooled Screw Refrigeration Compressor Unit is a factory-assembled, skid-mounted refrigeration package designed and manufactured in China by Lynxcool Industrial Refrigeration. It integrates a semi-hermetic or open-type screw compressor, a shell-and-tube or plate water-cooled condenser, an oil separator, a liquid receiver, an electronic expansion device, a PLC control panel, and all interconnecting pipework and wiring on a single structural steel skid. The condenser rejects heat to a cooling water circuit — supplied from a cooling tower, a dry cooler, or a process water loop — rather than to ambient air, enabling the unit to achieve condensing temperatures 5–12°C lower than an equivalent air-cooled design at the same ambient conditions.
