Impact-Resistant Traffic Door

Impact-resistant traffic doors, also known as swing doors, crash barriers, or traffic doors, are non-powered internal partition doors designed and manufactured in China by Lynxcool Industrial Refrigeration Co., Ltd. They are suitable for locations with frequent personnel and forklift traffic, such as cold storage facilities, food processing plants, pharmaceutical factories, logistics warehouses, and commercial kitchens. These doors can be opened or closed without electricity, motors, or operators.

Impact-Resistant Traffic Doors are widely used globally in various fields such as food cold chain, meat processing, pharmaceutical cleanrooms, hospital service corridors, distribution warehouses, and supermarket kitchens, providing an ideal solution for separating two-way traffic areas. This door allows forklifts or pallet trucks to pass at low speeds without stopping.


Product Design


1. Materials and Structure

The Impact-Resistant Traffic Door features an outer layer of stainless steel or galvanized steel, with an inner layer filled with flame-retardant honeycomb panels, mineral wool, aluminum honeycomb panels, or extruded polystyrene insulation material, providing impact resistance, heat insulation, sound insulation, and fire resistance. A double-layer acrylic observation window design allows staff to clearly observe oncoming vehicles before passing through. The door frame is equipped with EPDM rubber sealing strips around its perimeter, ensuring a tight seal when closed and preventing the intrusion of dust, cold air, insects, and noise.

All impact-resistant traffic doors can be customized in terms of opening size, door panel thickness, material specifications, and hinge grade to suit different application scenarios and ensure optimal product performance.

Core Performance


1. Two-Way Free Swing: Opens in both directions upon contact, with a handle-less design, allowing unobstructed passage for personnel and vehicles without stopping. The door automatically closes after passage.

2. Eccentric Shaft Self-Closing Hinges: The eccentric shaft design generates a restoring torque after any deflection, combined with the door panel's own weight, achieving fast and reliable automatic closing. There is no risk of spring fatigue failure, and the rated service life exceeds 50,000 opening and closing cycles.

3. HDPE Impact-Resistant Protective Panel: A 500mm wide and 600-1000mm high arc-shaped high-density polyethylene anti-collision strip is installed at the bottom of the door panel. It absorbs the impact force of forklifts and pallet trucks, is low-temperature resistant, and can be replaced without disassembling the door panel.

4. All-Metal Food-Grade Structure: Standard AISI 304 stainless steel panel, no wooden parts, fully washable, corrosion-resistant, and meets GMP hygiene standards for the food and pharmaceutical industries.

5. Insulation Core Material: Offers four core material options: flame-retardant honeycomb panel, aluminum honeycomb panel, mineral wool, and XPS. The thermal conductivity is as low as 0.034 W/(m・°C), and the sound insulation reaches up to STC 30.

6. EPDM Full-Way Sealing: The four-sided rubber sealing strips fit tightly against the door frame when closed, blocking dust, airflow, insects, and noise, effectively locking in cold air in cold storage environments.

7. Double-Layer Observation Window: Made of 5-6mm thick double-layer acrylic plexiglass, impact-resistant, not easily broken, safe and transparent.
