Lynxcool's twin-drum spiral blast freezer features a high-capacity continuous IQF system. It houses two independent, self-stacking spiral conveyors within an insulated enclosure, each located on a separate rotating drum, sharing a refrigeration system and a common air vent.


The Twin-Drum Spiral Freezer also supports an operating mode not available in single-drum designs: batch operation. In this mode, two different products can be loaded simultaneously onto two conveyor belts—one product rises on drum 1, and the other descends on drum 2—with independent dwell times for each product controlled by a uniform conveyor speed. This allows the Twin-Drum Spiral Freezer to be flexibly applied to multi-SKU production environments.


The refrigeration system of each Twin-Drum Spiral Freezer—including the screw compressor, condenser, evaporator coil array, EC fan system, and PLC control system—is integrated with the dual mechanical conveyor system and insulated housing into a single, factory-tested component.
